MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Next stated meeting: Thursday, March 28, 2024, 1:30 pm

Location: Veterans Hall 5750 Grant Avenue

Agenda to be posted here 72 hours in advance. Material and past meeting information may be found on our Board page.

As we moved forward into our 2023 program year, we've carried on our focus and effort toward making Carmichael both comfortably safe and invitingly clean.  Accomplished by the investment of focused attention by qualified contractors, joint law enforcement, and engaged leaders, the resulting benefits have been most welcomed.  While we were at this, we studied our area's business and economic dynamics and issued our findings in a report that informs business and community.  Supporting all is an engaged and active coalition of owner/leaders working together in the context provided by a strategic plan statement crafted in early 2018.  Efforts are advanced within various advisory committees oriented around specific needs and opportunities for Carmichael. Fantastic progress is being made in Carmichael right now! Join in and help get Carmichael ready for what's next.

Our core purposes have updated to deliver "Safe and Clean" services, encourage positive changes in our streetscape and area image, and foster economic prosperity within this central district of the Carmichael community. In all, we open our third year on a solid development and growth foundation. It is our commitment that District operations create clear and demonstrated improvements for business and property ownership which better the experience of all who live, work and enjoy Carmichael now and in the years ahead.

We appreciate you visiting our website where you will find activity and project updates, board and committee calendars and, material along with governing documents such as the Management District Plan with full detail on the expectations of the district. A bit of history on our grassroots formation effort is also offered.

Program Scope. Each Fall, committee leadership will seek nomination and review properties in our district area for notable, distinct and beneficial changes in their structural improvements as observed from the street over the last year. When remarkable properties are found, each December, the Board of Directors will recognize the properties as exemplarity “Bright Stars” for their success.
