MISSION: The CID District exists to render services (Safe and Clean) and add value (Beautification, Communication, and Economic Development) to the Owners of properties and Businesses within its Carmichael service area.

The Security & Maintenance Task Force works closely with joint law enforcement agencies to increase security and reduce property crime & trash throughout the CID service area; reviews statistics of crime & maintenance trends; discusses code violations such as non-compliant signage, illegal vendors, neglect, property condition, and blight that can attract loitering and crime, etc., and educates the owner community on crime prevention on properties through workshops and direct contact, called C.P.T.E.D. (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). Further, this committee helps contract security & maintenance teams address situations in developing awareness of chronic “hot spots” and helps evaluate the overall effectiveness of service delivery.

The DAC Task Force seeks ways to best position Carmichael, so it enjoys increased economic growth and vitality. The task force reviews area land use and planning entitlement applications in relation to the district's goals and objectives. The goals of these meetings are to attract resources and experts in order to ensure economic betterment for the ownership community within the Carmichael Improvement District's service area. This meeting is generally held on the 2nd Monday of every month at 11:30am followed by the Outreach & Communication Task Force.

Meetings occur on the 2nd Monday of every month at 12:00pm following the Development & Advancement Task Force meeting.
